Kendall enjoying her first Starbucks drink! No caffeine of coarse. It was a Strawberry and Crème Frappuccino. Her and Matt shared it, but she wouldn't give it back to him once it was his turn.

Kiss A Frog

This morning we did some yard work. Kendall helped by raking leaves with her big crayon and sweeping the front porch. Then, she spotted the bike in the garage and whined the rest of the time saying "Daddy ride" trying to get Matt to take her. But, when I was raking I came across a big frog under the barbeque pit. Notice where I am on the first picture (inside the porch.lol) The frog was jumping on the rake. As you can see Kendall was very fond of him and tried to pick him up and kiss him. GROSS!!!!

Beautiful March Day

Today was such a beautiful day!! We spent the whole day outside doing things around the house. She wanted to go "side" as she calls it right after breakfast and came in when it turned dusk. (The only time she was inside today was for lunch and nap). We went out in the driveway while Matt changed the oil in his car and she finished the rest of a Banana Pudding milkshake from Chick-Fil-A, which you can tell by the mess she made how much she liked it. Then, she helped him change the oil in my car. I cleaned out Matt's car while she sat inside pushing all the buttons. Then, she helped me pot three plants that Me-Maw gave us. She loved that!!! But, she was not much help bc she would dump the dirt right on top of the plant..lol..When I had to take away the dirt to go to the front yard to pot the Lily she threw the biggest fit! So, I took a picture of her. I can't believe how much she cried over dirt! Once she calmed down we finished.

Then, she saw the bikes in the garage and kept saying "ride peas peas". So, Daddy took her on a ride. We had to take put all the cushions from last summer and the seat fits her perfect now. I had a hard time going up the hill in our neighborhood bc I was sore from the gym this morning. (I have a free 7 day pass from my friend Crystal) Matt kept saying "Come on Momma" and Kendall would laugh and say the same thing!! My one and a half year old is mocking me!!! Then Matt was screaming "Feel the burn" as we were peddling up the hill and Kendall would scream at me "feel burn, feel burn!" It has already started. They are ganging up on me. I just can't believe how much she will repeat what we say! Then, we all had to come in and get showers and baths (even Sadie) bc we were filthy. Kendall showed off her new Dora night gown and her and Matt played with his remote controlled helicopter. She was afraid at first, but then would clap when it would take off. So, today was a good day!

This morning after MOPS Crystal and I went to Langdon Park. It is such a pretty park and we have never been there before. Kendall and Julian had a great time Then we went and had lunch at Mellow Mushroom.

Mardi Gras 2011

We took Kendal to the Joe Cain parade today. I had to throw in a picture from last year at this parade so ya'll can see how much she has changed in a year. To say she had fun is an understatement. Before the parade she walked around kissing babies, shaking hands, saying "hi" and "bye", dancing to all the rap music, and petting "puppies" (which is what she called the horses in the parade too). People were wanting to stand by us bc they said they would throw things to Kendall from the floats.

Once the parade started she was on Matt's shoulder's, so I was responsible for catching stuff and taking pictures. I realized I am horrible at parades bc I am so short and when stuff would fly my way I would scream and close my eyes! So, basically I caught a couple things by accident and luckily the people around us were giving Kendall everything. She got coins, beads, a stuffed animal, a flower, and moon pies. When the floats were in front of us she would scream "Beads!!!! All right!!!" and a whole bunch of other stuff that I had no idea what it was. But, I could here her screaming over all the people around us and the music. Matt is probably missing tuffs of hair bc she was holding on to it while she was trying to dance on his shoulders.

Her first (boy) friend

Kendall loves Julian or Ju-Ju as she calls him. This is her first friend she has made in Mobile. I watched him overnight one time and they had a blast playing.
