Fall is in the air!!

October is here and I love this time of year!! We have the Halloween decorations out and the house is pumpkin-fyed :) Kendall decided to play with the nutcrackers a bit. I wanted her picture, but she just wanted to dance around them in a circle..lol..Then, her and Sadie went outside to play. Both through the doggie door. Kendall held it open for Sadie. How thoughtful, right?

Breakfast on the patio...

When we woke up the other morning it was 66 degrees outside. It felt like fall, so what better thing to do then have breakfast on the patio? This was the first time Kendall ate with a plate and fork and she sat at the big table with me. She was stabbing her eggs and sausage with the fork in one hand to eat and then eating with her hand with the other! So she finished pretty quick and with not too much of a mess. I said not TOO much :)

 

15 months going on 15 years

Kendall has changed so much over these past 9 months and has the funniest little personality now. She is definitely in her "terrible twos" but she is still a blast. She started standing on her own at 7 months, rolling everywhere for a few months, then crawling at around 10 months. She then went straight to walking and running at one year!! And she has not slowed down!! She looovvees being outside and will run to the door when you say it or put her shoes on. Her and Sadie are best friends and play all the time.




Things Kendall loves....telling Sadie or other dogs to shhhh when they park, waving bye to strangers, walking Sadie, giving kisses, throwing everything away and then getting it out of the trash, remotes, talking on our cell phones, music, dancing, being outside, helping me unload the dishwasher and fold clothes, bike riding with daddy, crawling out the doggie door, and feeding sadie her snacks!

It has been a long time.......

So, I have taken about 9 months off from blogging about Kendall due to school, graduating, moving twice, and well...life :) She is soooo much different since the last pictures I posted. Matt and I just looked at them and laughed, along with Kendall. What I decided to do to catch up is post a few of my favorite pictures of her each month up until now. Its going to be hard to pick a few because we all know I looovvvee taking pictures of her! But, I'll do my best. So, these are from 7 months until 14 months :)

Snack Time!!!

So, the doctor had told us at Kendall's last appt. that we could start giving her diluted juice. We decided to try it out. Matt really wanted to give her the puff cereal too, so she can learn to feed herself. She was not really into the cereal..lol..but she loved the juice. We also got her some prunes for dinner.mmmmm :)

 

Happy New Year!!

We were also in Shreveport for New Years, but this time Kendall got to spend the holiday with her new cousin Ava. Cindy got them matching outfits and all I could find was Mickey Mouse ears because all the New Years hats were sold out. That is what I get for waiting until the last minute!

 

Kendall's First Christmas

We spent Christmas in Shreveport this year because my sister was scheduled to be induced two days after Christmas. It was great being with all my family. Kendall of coarse got way too much!! :)
