Happy Easter/4th egg hunt

So, by the time Easter rolled around she was a pro at egg hunting. We went to Crystal's house after she opened her Easter bunny gifts for lunch and an egg hunt.

The kids had fun, except some of the eggs had ants in them bc of the snacks we put inside. So, we had to go through and check all of them. Other then that it went great! Crystal and I had got Kendall and Julian Potato heads. We wrapped them and let them open them together. Kendall got Mrs. Potato head and Julian got Mr. Potato Head.

Playing in the cabinet

I made the mistake of letting Kendall get into the Tupperware once to keep her occupied while I was cooking and now she likes to play in there. Today she took EVERYTHING out and climbed in. I was not paying attention to her and I noticed she was sounding really frustrated and starting to scream. She had locked herself in the cabinet bc she closed it in on herself and the child lock would not let her get back out!!! I had to snap a picture before I set her free.

"Hot Tub"

So, Matt and I want to get Kendall a little pool for our backyard. I usually don't take her to the store if I have to go, but I figured we could run to Target just for one thing without her wanting to get out of the basket. I found a way to make her stay!!! A Starbucks cake pop and strawberry shake..lol It is a special treat she has had once before (not the cake pop though) and she stayed in the basket while I looked around a while. She doesn't get stuff every time we go to the store, but for my sake it made the trip easier. BUT, I never ended up getting a pool bc I wanted Matt to look at them and decide since he is practical and will figure out which one is best. So, when we came home I felt bad that I had promised her a pool and we came home empty handed. I set up the only thing I could find and blew up some of her decorations from her birthday last year. Matt came home when she was out there and called us "white trash" lol Kendall didn't mind bc she had a blast playing in the water and her little "hot tub"....!!

Nice outfit

Kendall asked to go outside after breakfast this morning. Since we are usually at the gym, playgroup, or MOPS (which is every other Thursday) in the mornings she went in the backyard with Sadie. I let her pick out her own outfit. Since she has now found out she can open her closet door I have had to keep her door locked until we get more child door locks (so my jewelry is not safe in our closet anymore either!) So she knew when I said "let's go outside" she got to run to her closet and open it to get her shoes. She went ahead and got her outfit out of her drawers in there too. This is what she picked out!! Her pink dry suit, a pair of purple 5T shorts, and her pink crocs!!! She looked so cute though..lol

Artwork

Here is Kendall's first artwork that she made for me. Brittany (the girl who watches her while I workout at the gym) gave it to me when I picked her up. I had to hang it on the fridge. Both girls thought Kendall was three bc of how much she talks to them and does. They said she is such a good helper and gets things for them and cleans up after the other kids. Brittany said she also consoles all the kids who are crying and pats the babies on the backs and gives everyone their juice when they need it...lol Guess I have taught her well!!!

3rd egg hunt

Today we went to Bass Pro shop with Crystal, Ernie, and Julian for the kids to go Easter egg hunting. First we had lunch there and then they took a picture with the Easter bunny, which she did not like anymore this year!!! She passed out on the way home!

2nd egg hunt

This morning at 9 we went to Bellingrath gardens for an Easter Egg hunt. This was where I did the 5K last weekend, but did not actually go inside the grounds. After the egg hunt Matt used the map we got and we walked around the gardens. It was sooooo gorgeous. That is why I took so many pictures. It was the perfect day too. Not a cloud in the sky and it was like 65 or 70 degrees!! Kendall had a blast getting eggs. She kept filling up her basket and then running and falling, so she would have to start all over bc all her eggs would fall out. For some reason this time she did not want to take a picture with the Trail Maids again.
